Chemical
Resistance Properties by Class of Compound
Sometimes one particular glove polymer works best in a certain class
of chemicals. All of the chemicals in this class have not been tested,
but the ones listed have been tested. There are exceptions, but
this data is listed for all chemicals tested in this class of compounds.
The table below is for heavy exposure to chemicals (total immersion).

| Recommendations
based on Chemical Class: Sometimes there exists a trend where for
a class of chemicals one glove type is almost always the glove of
choice. Where no data on chemical resistance testing exists, you can
sometimes make an generalization as to what glove would probably work
best based on how a glove performed in the rest of the chemicals in
a certain class. However, there are exceptions to this rule, so when
no data exists, use extreme caution. |
