In keeping with our goal of offering the newest products in the
line of safety, we expanded our booth space to feature several
new product lines this year.
Our continued effort to find the most innovated products for
Homeland Defense and natural disasters was highlighted by two
new lines, Survive-all and Innergy. The new emergency vest designed
with supplies to support 3 days of surviving a disaster was a
crowd pleaser. In addition, the emergency solar powered products
designed by Innergy proved to be of interest to all who attended.
We also offered some new gloves styles from Best, Instinct Gloves
and Hexarmor. Best, as always, provides a lot of great products
and was the first to design a glove, the Nighthawk, specifically
to the specs of law enforcement. Instinct Glove is a new line
offering a mechanic style glove with comfort and excellent fit
designed for the industrial market. Hexarmor, which has a level
5 cut and puncture resistance, also offers great needle stick
protection.
Aearo brought a lot of new products from the new Peltor Communication,
EAR and AO Safety lines. The Tac Pac, T6S Muff and the Orange
County Chopper Glasses were just a few of the new products that
caused a stir this year.
We are excited to introduce two new lines to our bucket, including
Scott Health and Safety and Rae Systems. Featured at the show
was the Scott 50 Airpack and Swatpak designed for Swat. We will
be carrying the full line of Scott products for both the law enforcement
and industrial markets.
Rae Systems offers the newest in detection products including
Gas Detection, Radiation and Chemical Detection. Featured at the
show were the AreaRae, ProRae Remote and the PlumeRae. They also
introduced a new Video System for vehicles and helicopters, which
will be coming out the first of 2007.
We were also excited to introduce the new line of Forensic and
Investigative Products supplied by Jant Pharmacal including the
RAMP Biodetection System, Explosive and Drug Detection Field Test
Kits.
Dupont introduced the new line of disinfectant products along
with their full line of PPE, including the new Thermo Pro coveralls
designed to meet the NFPA 1992 (2000 Edition) and the NFPA 2112
(2001 Edition) standards.
Coast introduced a new concept in flashlights, which runs on
standard AAA’s batteries with a longer and brighter shine
time than most flashlights on the market. The automatic knife
by Puma was of major interest to all who attended.
